Lavender is known for its relaxing effect so this wonderful refreshing lavender lemonade is one of the best ways to use lavender and enjoy it in a hot summer day.
Remove from heat and add lavender and sugar. Cover and let infuse for 30 minutes.
Strain the lavender water and pour into a serving carafe. Add lemon juice and cold water. Taste and adjust according to your preference either adding more sugar or lemon juice.
Garnish with lemon slices and serve it chilled over ice cubes.
